A Gift for Understanding Customer Needs

Established in 1982, Hartlepool-based Bridgman IBC Limited is a principal UK manufacturer and supplier of fire rated doors, doorsets, extended performance doorsets, fire rated glazed screens and washroom systems.

So whatever your requirement, from high quality executive doors, laminate faced doorsets, fire rated and robust glazed screens through to resilient security doorsets and attractive cubicles, Bridgman IBC can provide you with the perfect solution.

All of the company’s products are manufactured to the highest quality standards, with its fire rated products all conforming to BS 476 Part 22. Bridgman IBC also has BS EN ISO 9001: 2008 and BS EN ISO 14001: 1996 accreditation, as well as being a member of BM Trada Q-Mark; a third party fire door set accreditation scheme approved by UKAS.

Bridgman IBC has built a reputation for reliability, quality and service; at the same time as developing a better understanding of customers’ needs. Meeting these needs through its extensive product range and project design support, the company’s knowledgeable and experienced team of sales and technical staff work closely with architects, specifiers, interior designers, shop-fitters and construction companies in order to ensure optimum performance at all times.

This commitment to superior quality and projects that provide customers with complete peace of mind has not gone unnoticed either, with a significant degree of the company work coming via repeat business and recommendation. Moreover, the company regularly works on prestigious, landmark schemes.

Bridgman IBC, for instance, supplied over 500 sets to Western Homes on the recently opened, award winning Hotel Verta based in Battersea, London. As per the company’s standard offer, all doorsets where pre-hung, providing an attractive mix of straight grain, stained European Oak veneers and frames. Bridgman IBC also provided factory fitted complementary ironmongery. The project was handed over on time and on budget. This new 5-star hotel, von Essen’s first in London, forms part of the £150 million Bridges Wharf Development and will be the first integrated hotel heliport solution in Europe.

Always looking to push back boundaries, Bridgman IBC, as part of the BM TRADA Q mark certification scheme, Bridgman IBC has also recently tested its flax core 30 and 60 minute doorsets, with the following outstanding test results being achieved.

The test on the 30 minute door lasted 41 minutes.

The test on the 60 minute door was stopped after 66 minutes.

A privately owned business whose management team has over 100 years of experience in the construction products industry, Bridgman IBC operates out of a 100,000 ft² manufacturing facility and employs 68 skilled and motivated people. It is known for its professional approach to customer service whilst maintaining a friendliness and approachability that is increasingly rare nowadays.
