Picking up the ‘Event Hire Company of the Year (multiple outlets)’ award at the Hire Awards of Excellence 2010, Event Hire underlined its position at the forefront of the industry, with the company being renowned for supplying high quality furniture and catering equipment to a broad portfolio of discerning clients.
The event, hosted by the EHA (Event Hire Association) and sister association HAE (Hire Association Europe), was held at the Landmark Hotel in London and saw 12 awards presented to companies and individuals who had demonstrated outstanding contributions to the hire industry and who had achieved notable success during what had been a difficult year for many businesses.
Graham Arundell, managing director of EHA, said “During the judging process, Event Hire really did stand out for its performance and growth in the last year in a particularly demanding financial crisis. The company has used principles gained in many years of experience to meet customer expectation and demand, and I would like to congratulate the whole team on winning this prestigious award.”
It will come as no surprise, therefore, to discover that the company has supplied some of the UK’s most prestigious events, including the Royal International Air Tattoo, London International Wine & Spirits Fair (where it supplied a staggering 70,000 wine tasting glasses at ExCel), MOBO Awards, British Comedy Awards, British TV Awards, BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards, Rugby 6 Nations, Open Golf Championship, Royal Ascot, British Grand Prix, and Glastonbury Festival.
Of course, when you are dealing with one-off events there is no second chance. So whether it’s a wedding, banquet, conference, festival, exhibition or sporting event everything has to take place at the designated time. There can be no delay, meaning that Event Hire has to deliver when they say they will … and they do; every single time.
Since Event Hire started trading in May 2005, supplying furniture and catering equipment to other hire companies has also been a major part of its business strategy, incorporating three main areas. These are marquee contractors (from small family owned businesses to the largest national companies), event hire companies (Event Hire has built up its stock holding on core products to enable it to provide a trusted back-up service to its customers that allows them to say yes to their clients) and tool and hire equipment companies (the company has worked with HSS since Event Hire was set up and has, for instance, recently been approached by Speedy Hire to become a supplier to their Events division).
With vast experience within the industry, Event Hire can also provide a valuable specialist event/site management service for your event. It leaves nothing to chance, from the initial planning to the finishing touches the company will be working with you all the way.
