A state-of-the-art care home proposed for the Alloa Park development is to benefit from Bison precast products after surveyor, Kenny Thomson of Marshall Construction Ltd, placed a significant order with the leading precast manufacturer.
The order for 150mm and 200mm deep hollowcore floor units, and precast concrete stairs and landings was placed after design support provided by Bison at pre-tender stage ensured suitability and quality of product.
Lorna McPhail, Sales Manager, commented:
“We’re delighted to be working with Marshall Construction Ltd. Having enjoyed a relationship with the company in the past it’s great to re-establish it for a project that is well suited to our offering.
“Product quality and suitability is paramount to the success of any project – by offering design support prior to tender, we ensure the customer can hit the ground running upon delivery of products; safe in the knowledge they will be fit for purpose. The proposed site at Alloa Park is an up-and-coming development and it’s fantastic to see the industry making a recovery after a difficult few years. This in mind, we remain committed to offering cost-effective solutions for our customers without compromising on quality of product or service.”
Kenny Thomson, Marshall Construction Ltd said:
“The Bison team has demonstrated its ability to meet our requirements both at a product level and a service level. Its promise of efficient delivery and quality of product will ensure we meet our ambitious targets for completion. We look forward to working with them.”
Precast deliveries are due to commence in March 2011 and it is anticipated the project will be completed by the end of April.
