Recent projects awarded include the BBC Drama Studios in Cardiff for Vinci Construction. The project involves the installation of very high spec paving systems, planting a green acoustic wall and the supply and planting of over 100 semi mature street trees. The works have recently started and are scheduled for completion in May.
BLO have also been awarded a design and build project to refurbish the green at Westward Ho, the complete rejuvenation of the seafront village green involves ground modelling, walling, paving and the supply and installation of bespoke street furniture. This is completed with a demanding planting scheme with the plants being carefully selected to thrive in the tough maritime situation.
Finally, Blakedown Landscapes Operations has been awarded the Addison Road Parkour Project by Rugby Borough Council. This project involves the installation of an urban play area to accommodate ‘Free Running’. The works involve the construction of in-situ- casted concrete elements, erecting bespoke metal frame work using steel scaffolding materials, installation of street furniture, play equipment and macadam surfacing. Work began in January.
