Crusher UK launch new mobile jaw crusher

A British manufacturer and designer has announced the launch of its new mobile jaw crusher, for the demolition, waste recycling and quarrying industries.

The Series 2 City-Jaw 1830, from Crushers-UK Ltd, is one metre longer than the earlier model and, at 24 tonnes, two tonnes heavier. With an extended conveyor, giving a discharge height of 2,750mm, the new machine has larger tracks, higher ground-clearance and an extra platform area for easier maintenance.

Design Director Greg Shipley commented: “With the new model of the City-Jaw 1830, we’ve made some tweaks to the already superior original, to make it not only more accessible to its users, but also to improve on its functionality.”

The British designed and built machine also features dust suppression equipment, a magnetic separator, load-weigher and LED lighting. Fitted with the latest Pramac GSW 110 55kw generator, it comes with a number of extras, such as additional sockets for power tools, a bio fuel option, a tracking system, and remote monitoring.

With the jaw setting at 100mm, the machine has an hourly capacity of up to 120 Tonnes Per Hour, depending on material type.

Mr Shipley commented: “The City-Jaw 1830 is primarily designed for demolition, quarrying and waste recycling. However, it can also be brought in to quickly and effectively clear rubble, in areas of the world hit by earthquakes, flood and other natural disasters. It can also be flat packed into a 40ft container and shipped anywhere in the world.

“The City-Jaw 1830 is the most competitively priced machine compared to any of its nearest rivals, which in the main are manufactured overseas. Our products are British designed, British built and British engineered”, he added.

Crushers-UK will be inviting potential customers to its new premises in Fazeley, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, to view the new jaw crusher later this month. The firm is currently looking for dealers and agents to promote its products and services worldwide.
