The result was that Arc Business Interiors supplied all of the prestigious furniture for the Council Chamber, for the Mayor’s Parlour, the Members’ Lounge and all the public areas, including the one-stop shop section, while the existing furniture was used in the staff offices.
Andrew Hobson explains, “We have a very strong staff ethos which reflects throughout the business. We do not aim to be the cheapest but we do aim to be the best at what we do. Wherever possible we use UK manufacturers and probably as much as 95% comes from these manufacturers. We have a working showroom and we can provide everything that is required to change an empty shell into a fully furnished prestigious setting. We have our own, in-house interior designer and we offer this as a free service to our customers from design and space planning, through 2-d and 3-d designs to the final result. We have an excellent relationship with all our suppliers at director level and we also have a local joinery shop that can produce bespoke work for us.”
