The Mövenpick Hotel Deira can now almost guarantee a peaceful night’s sleep after creating a dedicated ‘relax zone’ and full range of amenities ideal for business guests.
Michael Nugent, the hotel’s general manager explains; “Many visitors arriving from different time zones need a little peace and quiet to help them relax, unwind and get some much needed sleep. Our quiet zones are designed to achieve just that.”
To maintain tranquility, a designated ‘quiet floor’ has been reserved exclusively for business guests. Children will not be allowed onto the floor and room service will be carried by tray. In addition housekeeping trolleys will be confined to between 8am and 10pm.
“For any late night or early morning housekeeping requirements we will operate a basket service, to keep any disturbance to an absolute minimum,” added Nugent.
The rooms themselves come complete with subdued lighting to soothe tired eyes; comfortable bed sheets and a pillow menu including one piece down feather pillow with additional options for anti allergic or neck support pillows.
To add to that, TV volumes are pre-set to a comfortable level, ear plugs and eye masks are available in every room as part of the amenities and telephone calls are automatically directed to voice mail upon request for business guests that would like complete peace and quiet. Finally a selection of herbal teas will be made available, to calm the body and relax the mind to promote a deep and restful sleep.
To take even more stress out of business trips, the Dubai Metro’s green line is conveniently located just five minutes walk from the hotel. So business guests at the hotel can now travel to business appointments and let the train take the strain.
Room rates for the relax zone start at just AED595 plus 10% service charge and 10% municipality fees, subject to availability.
