Niblock commenced their first sheltered housing scheme refurbishment for London & Quadrant Housing Trust in October 2008. This work involved major alteration, refurbishment and new mechanical and electrical installations at Elwick Court and Fossett Lodge, two sheltered blocks with residents in occupation, at a value of £850,000.
Since then they have built upon that experience and are currently working on their 10th sheltered housing refurbishment for the same client, London & Quadrant and working with the same consultant, Hunters, on Wingfield Court and Frank Godley Court with a contract value of £638,000. Niblock have refined their approach to this specialist field and place great emphasis on pre-planning and resident liaison to fully understand the client’s needs and expectations before starting work.
