Regulation 134.1.1 of BS 7671:2008 requires that electrical equipment be installed in accordance with the instructions provided by the manufacturer. Non ISO 6789:2003 compliant torque screwdrivers typically contain less durable plastic internal components, and subsequently require recalibration after just 1,000 cycles/clicks.
