Fullex, ’growing’ in confidence

Multipoint lock manufacturer Fullex Locks Ltd is bucking the current very difficult economic trend, with 50% growth in the last two years and a wide portfolio of new product introductions to maintain growth for the future.

Central to the Fullex philosophy is security backed by reliability. All Fullex Multipoint locks are rigorously tested to PAS23/24 and licensed by Secured by Design, the organisation set up by the Association of Chief Police Officers to ‘design out crime’. Fullex were in fact, the very first Secured by Design licensed company.

The current range of PAS23/24 locks includes the innovative SL16 Crimebeater Midlock, a development of the widely specified SL16 Crimebeater. Crimebeater Midlock was designed to defeat cylinder snapping and bumping and additionally, meets NHBC guidelines for Enhanced Security by adding a 5 lever, 20,000 differ ‘Midlock’ into the system. The ‘Midlock’ effectively locks out the top and bottom deadbolts or hooks, so even if the Euro profile cylinder is defeated, the door is still secure. With lock bumping and cylinder snapping dramatically increasing, Fullex have also developed the ABC Anti Snap & Anti Bump Kitemarked cylinder. ABC exceeds the requirements of PAS24 2007 + A2 2011. Clause A11 parts 1 and 2 include sustained snapping attempts on the cylinder and ABC passes these tests without the need for additional cylinder guards or security door handles.

Fullex do not concentrate purely on security and the PAS23/24 ‘Pyroscape’ lock offers genuine secure keyless egress from inside a property. The heart of the Pyroscape is the highly regarded SL16 Multibolt lock and when combined with ABC Anti Snap & Anti Bump cylinders, the system allows the door to be fully locked, but handle operable in an emergency from the inside only, without the need to use the cylinder.

The most recent addition to the multipoint range, the Fullex XL lock shares many features of the successful Crimebeater series, but offers 3 opposing steel hooks and 2 steel anti lift bolts. XL is available in a variety of configurations with silver trivalent coated steel, austenitic stainless steel or powder coated aluminium faceplates to suit PVCu, Composite or Timber doors and is fully PAS23/24 tested and Secured by Design licensed.

Fullex have a reputation for innovative products and the Gemini interlocking Composite French door system is a result of that innovation. Gemini is mounted on two Aluminium extrusions which are simply ‘bolted on’ to the edge of the composite door. The master lock, then ‘deadlocks’ the slave side lock, offering full PAS23/24 security, along with very simple fabrication.

Whatever your application, for innovative security and reliability on Composite, PVCu or timber doors, Fullex has a product to suit your doors.
