Lights, camera and action from Ennis Prismo

Forget the BAFTAs and the Oscars, UK road safety products manufacturer, Ennis Prismo Traffic Safety Solutions, is getting top billing for its range of demonstration and application videos.
The company’s videos, available on YouTube, have achieved in excess of 11,000 viewings, proving that customers find them to be an extremely useful tool, which helps them to understand how Ennis Prismo products can be applied, how they operate and the benefits they provide.

The company’s YouTube library, which includes a total of 25 videos, highlights the wide range of products available from Ennis Prismo and demonstrates the ease with which they can be used in a range of applications.

The videos feature a wide range of installations and different types of products, from Ennis Prismo’s Flexiline and Paintmark™ road-marking and surface safety solutions, to its Textureflex and Tyregrip high friction surfacing systems. Also displayed are the Stimsonite road studs; Thormajoint bridge expansion joints; Fibrescreed sealing and crack repair systems; and Imprint decorative surfacing. The latest addition is a video of the company’s unique surface graphics system:Digimark™.

Topping the viewing chart are Ennis Prismo’s road marking systems. The ease of installation of these systems is clearly displayed for both the Flexiline pre-formed thermoplastic and Paintmark™ pre-formed, cold-applied road paint.

The increased levels of safety which can result from using Ennis Prismo’s high friction surfacing and surface safety solutions is also graphically demonstrated. A braking comparison clip clearly shows the reduced braking distances that can result from using Tyregrip cold-applied surfacing.

The reflective qualities of the company’s cold plastic methyl methacrylate (MMA) road markings (Nitesite) and surface safety solutions (Zebrabright and Coloubright) are also shown in real-world applications. Videos from actual accident black-spots clearly show how colour and increased levels of wet/night visibility have been used to improve warnings and increase safety and visability.
