NCS – SUSTAINABILITY LIVE 2012

NCS is an energy solutions provider that is dedicated to helping customers achieve savings by reducing energy consumption and cutting their carbon footprint. Working with a number of clients in the retail, leisure and commercial property sectors across the UK, NCS provides holistic energy management solutions to help companies achieve their long-term energy goals.

Following a survey and full assessment of requirements, NCS designs, controls and monitors systems to ensure that the energy used by organisations is kept to a minimum. It has a particular focus on the heating, lighting, refrigeration and water management within a building.

Without disrupting business operations, NCS implements low cost, flexible solutions that provide a rapid return on investment – typically in less than three years.

The company has been shortlisted for an award in the Energy-Efficient Refurbishment category, for its partnership with Marks & Spencer, having played a large part in helping the retailer work towards its energy targets in the past 12 months.

Managing director of NCS, Chris Norburn, will be giving a talk on the company’s partnership with the retailer at the Sustainability Live exhibition. NCS has completed over 200 projects for Marks & Spencer, reducing its energy use by 23% across its estate. Chris will talk in particular about the tangible energy saving solutions undertaken for the Marks & Spencer store at the Trafford Centre in Manchester, which resulted in a 30% saving in energy use and provided a return on investment in less than three years.

A Carbon Trust accredited supplier, NCS will also have a stand throughout the Sustainability Live exhibition. The team will be on hand to talk about how companies in various industries can make energy savings and cut their carbon footprint.
