SFL brought the best of manufacturing, customer service and business ethics together in the flue and chimney market place to improve it’s market share.
It was a double celebration for SFL as Production Operator Apprentice Viktorija Indriulyte won the coveted Apprentice of the Year 2012 Award. During her modern two year apprenticeship Viktorija completed a City & Guilds 2280 Mechanical Engineering and an NVQ in Metal Craft. Viktorija was chosen not only for her skill at work but for her ability to meet the many challenges she has faced with good natured grit and determination. In an unprecedented busy season that saw her Line Leader head up a night shift requirement, Viktorija stepped up to cover her section, managing a team of men.
Sami Caglar Managing Director said: ‘I am so very proud, both of Viktorija, who has made such a positive difference, and of all of our employees who have worked so well together in meeting our customers expectations, making our success and this award a reality. Our ability to respond to short turnaround requests has resulted in this unprecendented growth and hard won new customers both from the UK and worldwide’.
