Sika-Trocal is very pleased to announce the launch of an additional function to its SikaSpec service – the online tool designed to enable specifiers to create roofing specifications quickly and easily. This fast and efficient system now also includes NBS format specifications.
SikaSpec provides two easy ways to create and store bespoke roofing specifications online. Architects, surveyors, and building owners can register for free at www.sikaspec.co.uk and discover how this new time-saving tool will help them.
Once registered, specifiers are given their own account which enables them to repeatedly access and amend specifications, as well as allowing NBS documents and Sika
specifications to be easily downloaded. The fast, simple and efficient online tool also allows each specification to be emailed to multiple recipients and once created they can be quickly and simply duplicated or modified as required.
SikaSpec users are able to select the roof construction, the method of attachment and the guarantee term in order to produce a specification covering the deck, vapour control layer, insulation and waterproofing membrane complete with preliminary items.
SikaSpec Basic will allow a user to choose from around 30 pre-loaded standard roof specifications whereas users who choose the SikaSpec Pro option will be able to complete their own bespoke specifications and choose to download the specification in either NBS or SikaSpec formats once complete. Both options are free to use once registration on the website is complete.
