With Mark Blades joining as a director and the transfer of his five employees to the workforce the combined team of professional staff is able to assist and advise in everyway throughout the course of any works to ensure that the project progresses as smoothly as possible.
Based in Huntington, York, Cooper & Westgate offer a wide range of construction, electrical and plumbing services with a 50/50 domestic and commercial local client base. They undertake all aspects of general building and construction work including extensions, renovations and refurbishments in and around the North Yorkshire region, including Leeds and York.
A recent challenging project was the conversion of a small run down bungalow into a large four bed roomed detached house built to the highest specifications. “This was an exciting project for us to be involved in,” says Paul Cooper, MD. “There were no constraints on labour or materials, it really was a case of ‘no expense spared.”
Another job involved the renovation of a substantial Victorian property located in York’s prestigious The Mount area. “Again this was a run down property,” says Paul, “which was at that time sectioned into five flats. We carried out a £650k renovation and refurbishment works programme to convert it into a luxurious private dwelling.”
