RMG CONSOLIDATES BUSINESS IN THE NORTH WITH LATEST URBAN SPLASH WIN

Residential Management Group (RMG: www.rmgltd.co.uk; tel: 0845 002 4310) continues to go from strength to strength in the north of England, following the company’s latest new business win at Lister Mills, near Bradford in Yorkshire, a development by award-winning regeneration company, Urban Splash.

The successful tender followed a tough selection process with eight other agents presenting to and being interviewed by both Urban Splash Directors and residents of Lister Mills.

Janet Shane from Urban Splash, which is responsible for transforming the fortune of iconic buildings around the country including the Rotunda and Fort Dunlop in Birmingham, the Midland Hotel in Morecambe and the Royal William Yard in Plymouth says:

“RMG currently manages in excess of 1,500 properties on behalf of Urban Splash, demonstrating our confidence in our partnership with them and the work that they do in maintaining fantastically designed, thriving environments for our residents.”

RMG Business Development Manager, Antony Gore, emphasised that the success of the Lister Mills tender was as a result of a huge team effort, noting in particular the contribution of Property Manager Emma Pickwell who will manage the scheme.

Lister Mills represents an excellent addition to RMG’s growing Yorkshire portfolio. Largely complete, it comprises 326 homes, plus offices, shops and leisure space within two stunning Grade II listed buildings.

Once the world’s largest silk mills, it was described by The Times when first built as ‘breathtaking as Versailles’, and still dominates the Bradford skyline.

RMG offers a specialist range of nationwide property management services, working closely with developers and house builders from the initial drawing board stage, through planning applications and completion of developments, right up to the last purchaser moving in. The company is then able to help to establish the right property management structure for each development, and to deliver the necessary services to residents.

Passionate about being the best in the business, RMG continues to campaign for increased regulation for the property management sector, in a bid to eradicate unscrupulous operators and to engender a more positive reputation for the industry.
