Energy Assets, the largest independent provider of gas metering services to the UK industrial and commercial sector, has recruited Vickie Gibson to its senior management team to spearhead the company’s continuous improvement of systems, processes and customer service.
Vickie joins the MAM (Meter Asset Management), AMR (Automated Meter Reading) and Siteworks business as Head of Operational Data Integrity, working primarily out of Livingston but with responsibilities across all business functions, including those in the Manchester and Rotherham offices. She will play a key role in supporting and developing all the elements of the Energy Assets digital end-to-end solution central to the delivery of data to a growing client and asset portfolio base.
The company’s owned and installed meter portfolio of 73,000 assets (at 31 September 2012) has expanded by c. 30% over a 12 month period – a growth profile that demands a clear focus on continuous improvement in a developing market.
Vickie brings a wealth of experience to her new role from 18 years in the industry and joins Energy Assets following 13 years at a leading industrial and commercial gas supplier, where latterly she was responsible for managing the interactions between the gas supplier and other industry participants, including MAMs and AMR providers. Vickie has also held senior positions in gas supplier customer service and operations teams, thereby enhancing her knowledge and experience of gas supplier and MAM relationships and the management of provider-to-customer system replacement and implementation projects.
She will report directly to CEO Phil Bellamy-Lee, who comments:
