Cemplas Waterproofing and Concrete Repairs Ltd were appointed to apply specialist Tremco car park coatings to the top deck, intermediate decks, and stair cores of a newly built multi story car park constructed by Kier construction for staff parking at Lonza’s UK facility for Mammalian Biopharmaceuticals Corporation.
The project was at Lonza’s Slough site for their centre of excellence. The client HUBER Car Park Systems design, finances, constructs and operates multi-storey car park facilities.
The project was started earlier this year, but delayed due to the cold weather delaying the concrete slabs from drying out.
The Tremco spec MMA rapid cure deck waterproofing system was chosen due to its high quality finish and long deck surface life.
Cemplas were appointed due to their extent of specialist car deck waterproofing undertaken since they were formed in 1969.
