Saint-Gobain PAM UK’s Blutop range of ductile iron pipes and fittings has achieved the internationally recognised ISO 16631:2016 certification. The attainment demonstrates the company’s commitment to the consistently high quality of its range of products.
ISO 16631:2016 specifies the requirements and test methods applicable to ductile iron pipes, fittings, accessories and their joints with dimensions compatible with plastic (PVC or PE) piping systems. The Blutop range is fully compatible with these systems.
ISO is the world’s largest developer and publisher of International Standards. The organisation consists of a network of national standards bodies from 161 countries, with a Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland.
Commenting on the achievement, Mark Esling, Saint-Gobain PAM UK’s Business Development Director said:
“It is gratifying that our Blutop range is leading the market with this internationally recognised certification, which will give specifiers even more confidence in its performance.”
The Blutop range is dedicated to small diameter potable water distribution. It is available in diameters ranging from OD 75 to 160, and offers both non- restrained and self-restrained manual push-fit joints.
