Lucion Services has announced that it is bringing its two consultancy divisions together.
Under the new arrangements Salbrook Vance, a provider of strategic hazardous material management consulting, will be merged with construction safety specialists Innov8 Safety Solutions.
The new company will be headed by business managers Jeremy Meredith and Kevan O’Neill to operate under the new brand name Innov8 Risk Consultants.
The new combined operation will comprise a team of 17 consultants and advisors who will operate from the national network of 12 regional offices established by Lucion.
The expanded team will provide multidisciplinary consultancy services across a wider range of risk and compliance areas within the built, natural and marine environments.
These will include, for example, high level expert advice on risk management and regulatory matters, as well as dedicated support and guidance on specialist issues such as asbestos management, contaminated land and compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
Jeremy Meredith, said: “Salbrook Vance and Innov8 are firmly established, highly respected and very successful consultancy providers in their own right. Over the past 18 months we have seen a rise in demand for extended consultancy services across an entire spectrum of risk management related services.
“The merging of these businesses now places Innov8 in a much stronger position to provide clients with increased levels of expertise from a single point of contact and a wider geographical coverage operating from our 12 offices across the UK and Northern Ireland.
“Innov8 has traditionally maintained a very high profile in the North West and North East, while Salbrook Vance has had a main market presence in the South East. The complementary nature of the two businesses will therefore enable us to create a truly national consultancy capable of providing a much broader range of safety and environmental risk services to clients.”
Lucion Services brings together a group of multidisciplinary risk management companies to help clients achieve full compliance with occupational and environmental safety regulations.
Established in 2002, Lucion has experienced continuous growth, both organically and through acquisition, with Salbrook Vance being established in 2014 and Innov8 being acquired in 2015.
Headquartered in Gateshead, Lucion now employs around 295 staff around the country and has an annual turnover of around £25million.
