A new standby power system supplied to Henry Boot Construction by shentongroup has already started to benefit the company by protecting their HQ during a recent two hour mains power failure. The state of the art system supported the buildings essential services including Email and web server, computers, telecoms and lighting.

Specialist supplier of power generation andenvironmental solutions, shentongroup, won the contract on a competitive tender, supplying Henry Boot Construction with a complete turnkey solution including 110kVA generator, control panel, bulk fuel tank, ductwork, commissioning and a one year service contact.

Supplied in a super-silent acoustic canopy, the 110kVA Scorpion diesel generator has been installed in a bund to retain any diesel spillage and is fitted with a number of special features to ensure that the generator is always ready for use. These include a remote monitoring panel that enables the generator to be checked quickly and easily.
