SoVibrant, the brainchild of Managing Director Adam Atkinson, who carried out freelance work under the name for a number of years prior, was the phoenix that rose from the ashes of a larger Design and Build company unfortunately going into administration in May of 2009. It was at this organisation that SoVibrant’s current Board of Director’s met, working in various facets of the business.

The decision was made shortly before the company went into administration to take the leap of faith and set up SoVibrant, securing backing from Non-Executive Director Alan Kitching who has a wealth of experience in the Building Services sector. Alan successfully built a large Building Services company from a start-up to turning over in excess of £70m before selling his shareholding and assisting like-minded, non-competing businesses.

Adam Atkinson, Mike Carter and Helen Nicol joined forces with Paul Brook, Charlie Herries and Mo Akhtar to create SoVibrant, working across all sectors from Retail and Leisure through to Commercial Office and Education. The company has grown rapidly from six employees to 12 and has doubled turnover year on year. FX Magazine featured the business as “The One to Watch” and SoVibrant were runner-up in Mixology North’s Design Practice of The Year.

The truly unique service offering allows SoVibrant to work with small to medium enterprises through to large blue chip corporate’s. With a proven track record in driving down project costs whilst creating innovative, relevant and efficient working environments based on the customer’s business requirements and communicating the company brand values or message. SoVibrant prides itself on long standing client relationships by providing unique bespoke solutions to problems that can be designed, co-ordinated and delivered all under a single banner, ultimately negating the need to bring multiple consultants to the project and hence saving time and money.

SoVibrant continues to enjoy growth and is increasing the client list on a weekly basis. This may be due to the fact that at most meetings the client will say, “I want the design of my environment…….vibrant.” How about so vibrant?
