Operating from three locations in London – Kings Cross, Barnet and Buckhurst Hill – Fayers Plumbing and Heating Supplies specialise in heating and sanitary ware supported by first class showroom facilities.
Fayers Plumbing and Heating Supplies was founded over 125 years ago and has its origins in a small high street shop in north London that supplied everything from stoves to bath plugs.
The company takes pride in offering expert service in three distinct and different areas. Firstly, their ability to offer above and beyond service to local tradesmen makes many of the national merchants very envious, with a very wide range of stock they can offer an ex-stock solution to most domestic requirements, all at very competitive prices
Secondly they have a highly professional contracts department that is dedicated to assisting, working with and supplying large house builders, M&E engineers and hotels.
The extensive experience of the contract teams means they can turn around enquiries very fast and offer the customer the deal that he needs.
Last, but not least, Fayers have three of the best showrooms in London. Branded “Just Add Water” the showrooms source exceptional designer created products from around the globe, products that inspire and create dream bathrooms. The Kings Cross showroom features the most up to date Duravit showroom in the UK, with many of the products launched by Duravit last year in Frankfurt on display for the first time anywhere.
The showroom also hosts the first and, at the time of writing, only Jacuzzi hydrotherapy showroom in London, the latest enclosures from Matki, and a very wide range of products from Grohe housed in a spectacular innovative display.
Other suppliers are Dornbracht, Milldue, Allape, Sottini, Ideal Standard and many more All this with free CAD design and free parking. Find us on www.justaddwater.co.uk
Fayers contracts department’s portfolio of business is varied, from affordable to luxury housing they also supply commercial and healthcare projects. Their client list includes the likes of: Kensington Close Hotel, St James Court Hotel, Indian High Commission, The Cloisters Windsor Castle, The Olympic Village. Decent Homes projects in London Boroughs of Islington and Tower Hamlets, Henrietta House W1 Office development, Newham General Hospital, Qatar Airlines Terminal 4, and 92 flats North East Quarter Regents place.
Looking to the future, Steve Pulley, Fayers spokesperson says, “The market place continues to be difficult with many suppliers predicting a flat at best performance for 2012. However, we are a little more optimistic and believe that market share can be gained by focussing on customer service and investment into new stock areas.
“We anticipate an interesting year with a number of challenges along the way but we are facing those challenges with enthusiasm and optimism.”
Fayers attract new clients by having the ability that nationals do not have, of being able to listen and react to their customers quickly, says Steve. “As an example, our customers were often asking us “why don’t you stock rigid trade kitchens?” After looking at the market and selecting a manufacturing partner we very quickly struck a deal with Rixonway to become their only stockist in London.
Now we not only offer a wide stock of rigid trade kitchens from stock but we are also able to back up Rixonway on contracts and the supply of the kitchens to over 20 London authorities.”
Fayers have some very exciting expansion plans that include the planned increase in the branch network within the M25.
“In five years time we see ourselves as becoming the most successful independent merchant within the M25 dedicated to offering the tradesman a fantastic local service that will be dedicated to helping them grow their businesses,” adds Steve.
Fayers are a one-stop-shop for specifiers, designers, contractors and fitters in London. Expert staff, fantastic stocks, the right deals, and the ability to listen and react – oh yes, and free off road parking is what keeps it ahead of its nearest competitors.
