Most recently, K-Panels joined forces with Robert Woodhead Ltd a leading East Midlands based contractor experienced in providing highly sustainable building projects, to deliver a CfSH level 5 Eco Towns development in Gainsborough.
This project was designed to demonstrate that a carefully planned fabric first approach to building design can help reduce the cost of running homes by improving energy efficiency whilst still incorporating outstanding design to reflect the local vernacular.
In January 2012 this ground breaking development received its interim design stage certificate in achieving a Five star rating for Code for Sustainable Homes Level Five.
Works are still underway on the site, a brief video study of which can be found on the Robert Woodhead Ltd YouTube channel, and are scheduled for completion in June 2012.
Alongside this highly successful and unique build, K-Panels are currently on site for a number of leading contractors based all over the UK, with busy build schedule to fulfil throughout 2012.
