Gladedale launches new uniform range from Stedman Corporate Clothing

Stedman Corporate Clothing Ltd has today announced the successful launch of a new range of staff uniforms for the residential house-builders, The Gladedale Group.

New uniforms have been rolled-out across all Gladedale’s brands, including Bett Homes, Ben Bailey Homes, Country & Metropolitan Homes and its premier brand, Manor Kingdom, and have been selected to offer Gladedale’s sales team a choice of uniform styles to suit their individual preferences. Gladedale Group has chosen sophisticated navy pinstripe tailoring across all brands for a consistent look and has incorporated bespoke accessories, including ties and name badges, to add a point of difference. Royal blue shirts and blouses have also been provided across all brands except for the Manor Kingdom team who have a silver-coloured blouse to differentiate its premium marque.   In total, the team has the option to select from three styles of jacket, two skirt lengths or trousers, ensuring the Gladedale team can hand-pick the style and fit that best suits their specific preferences.

Carolyn Hunter from Gladedale Group confirmed, “We awarded this contract to Stedman Corporate Clothing as it was clear the team really have a great vision and understanding of our business, how we fit within the home-building market and what image we were wanting to project for each brand.  They were great at creating ideas for the new uniform and also in understanding what fabrics would best suit the daily rigours of our team’s roles.

The new designs are not only very current – for example we have trimmed down on belts and scarves to offer a more streamlined, modern look – but they are machine washable, which makes a huge difference for our staff. Previously all uniforms were dry-clean only which was expensive to maintain.” Carolyn continues; “ The team at Stedman’s were very happy to source a huge range of fabric samples for us so we could see what options were available to us.  Plus, once we had decided on the complete look and feel, they organised ‘trying-on sessions’ with the staff so they could select the style and size upfront, therefore saving on lots of returns.

We are very grateful to the team at Stedman Corporate Clothing for their professionalism in designing, creating and fulfilling the brief, within our required timeframe. All the staff seem very happy with the new look and the roll-out has been trouble-free. Plus, we found Stedman’s to be competitively priced, which is certainly an added advantage in the current climate.” In total, over 100 wearers have received new uniforms, which include sales managers, sales advisors, site managers, assistant site managers and key customer-facing staff in the Gladedale head office.

Teresa Stedman, managing director of Stedman Corporate Clothing concluded: “The new look uniforms for the Gladedale group of companies offers a professional image, yet eliminates the issue of having to manage individually-styled tailoring across the different brands.  Moving forward, we also manage the ongoing fulfilment process for Gladedale. So, should any member of staff require alternative garments or new team members come on-board, we centrally coordinate the orders on their behalf, removing this administrative task from the internal team and therefore saving them time and internal resource.”
