Retro Expo’s educational and networking programme revealed

Retro Expo today announced its educational and networking driven programme aimed at inspiring, educating, supporting business networking and driving growth in the retrofit market.

Delivered in a variety of formats ranging from seminars, conferences, feature areas and awards events Retro Expo will comprise of four core elements:

The Green Deal Summit – a conference aimed at key senior-level stakeholders reviewing progress, driving change and market growth. The Summit is divided into six modules:

• Module 1: Green Deal Finance (in partnership with The Green Deal Finance Company)

• Module 2: Green Deal Demand (in partnership with DECC)

• Module 3: Retrofit at Scale (in partnership with Birmingham City Council)

• Module 4: Retrofit Learning and Innovation (in partnership with The Technology Strategy Board and The Construction Product’s Association)

• Module 5: Green Deal Skills (in partnership with The National Skills Academy for Environmental Technologies)

• Module 6: Driving Growth in the SME Sector Through Retrofit (in partnership with the British Property Federation and the Institute for Sustainability)

Retro Expo Hub Programme – a series of FREE educational seminars:

The Retrofit Hub Programmes feature presentations and debates around the core technical areas of Building Services and Building Fabric.

The Retrofit Case Studies Hub will host case study presentations from across a range of research programmes funded by The Technology Strategy Board.

The Green Deal Journeys Hub provides orientation for visitors on The Green Deal and signposts business opportunities and training paths that they can trust.
