C.K tools Is Torque of the Town

Precision German engineered for reliability and long-term performance, the new C.K Torque Screwdriver Set, with premium internal metal components, is set to become a toolbox hero amongst electricians.

Regulation 134.1.1 of BS 7671:2008 requires that electrical equipment be installed in accordance with the instructions provided by the manufacturer. Facilitating the majority of settings for the tightening of electrical equipment terminal screws, the C.K Torque Screwdriver covers a torque range of 1.5 to 4.0Nm, and is supplied with a factory calibration certificate for added peace of mind.

For quick and accurate torque setting this outstanding new tool features a sophisticated, easy to adjust micrometer torque setting mechanism, whilst clearly audible and physical feedback when the pre-set torque level is achieved will offer electricians reassurance that terminal screws are tightened according to specification.

Manufactured in accordance with ISO 6789:2003, the C.K Torque Screwdriver is accurate to +/-6% of the pre-set scale value, and as a result of its meticulous construction it has an extensive calibration life of 5,000 cycles. Non ISO 6789:2003 compliant torque screwdrivers typically contain less durable plastic internal components, and subsequently require recalibration after just 1,000 cycles/clicks. The C.K Torque Screwdriver however, has an extended service life due to its greater build quality, offering far better value for money.

Excellent durability comes as standard thanks to a chrome plated, toughened alloy steel blade and, designed for maximum comfort in use, the exceptional C.K Torque Screwdriver features an ergonomically designed soft grip handle.

In meeting the ever changing needs of busy tradesmen, the C.K Torque Screwdriver set comprises a torque handle, two modulo (plus/minus) blades – sizes 1 and 2, a user guide and a calibration certificate, all contained within a practical zipped fabric storage wallet.

Graham Godfrey, brand manger, C.K tools commented: “As with all C.K tools’ extensive tool innovation, new products are not thrown together but are created as a direct result of the company’s long-standing collaboration with end users – before, during and after tool development.
