PHEX 2010 in Chelsea was a great success for Hydropath Holdings Ltd with the stand receiving a record attendance. As well as demonstrating their patented limescale conditioning technology for domestic and commercial applications, Hydropath also ran a competition giveaway for a Hydropath Winter Warm Jacket.
The lucky winner of the jacket was Grant Matcham of Matchams Plumbing and Heating Company in Folkestone. Grant runs Matchams with his father Jim, and has been installing the HydroFLOW HS38 water conditioner for over a decade in East Kent, which is an extremely hard water area. Both Grant and Jim trust the technology so much that they have installed them in their own homes.
Grant explains “Having seen first hand the damage limescale can cause to appliances and heating systems, it made sense to protect my own home from limescale. It also makes sense economically – limescale is a big cost factor when it comes to heating a home because limescale adheres to heating elements requiring more energy to work. The HS38 costs only pennies to run, but there will be a reduction in household energy costs. The Hydroflow technology is a highly efficient means of inducing an
electrical field directly into the process water by means of fitting a ferrite ring externally around the pipe. The induced field propagates both up and downstream of the Hydropath unit and it will prevent the build up as well as remove existing limescale. Eco friendly, maintenance free and Customer satisfaction is assured by a three year manufacturer’s guarantee as well as a one year fit for purpose warranty. Hydroflow HS38’s are available through main and independent merchants such as Matchams Plumbing & Heating, throughout the UK.
