GLOBUS LAUNCHES IN THE MIDDLE EAST -Expert in hand protection showcases portfolio at Intersec

Globus, experts in hand protection solutions, has launched Globus EMEA FZE in the Middle East and recently showcased the latest innovations in protective gloves at Intersec in Dubai. Intersec is renowned as the region’s largest and most comprehensive networking exhibition for the safety and security industries.

Globus EMEA FZE is proud to now serve companies in the Middle East with bespoke solutions that can deliver robust commercial benefits. Such solutions are built from an extensive professional range of gloves incorporating Showa Best and Skytec products. Globus has made a considerable investment in the area with sales, logistics, warehouse facilities and operational support located there.

Commenting on the move, Haraldur Agustsson, Chief Executive, Globus EMEA FZE, said: “We are very excited to be launching in Dubai. The Middle East is a very dynamic area with significant opportunity and we are looking forward to supporting new and existing customers operating in the region.”

Two of the new products that will be showcased at Intersec are the new 281 TEMRES and 306 from Showa Best.

During dry and hot temperatures wearing coated gloves can cause hands to sweat and create perspiration inside the glove.  Globus is showcasing the 281 TEMRES and 306 gloves as these both feature innovative, breathable technology which will encourage workers to wear hand protection for longer periods without compromising comfort and dexterity.

281 TEMRES:

281 TEMRES contains a unique micro-ventilated waterproof polyurethane coating which protects the hand against water and liquids whilst keeping it dry, even when worn for long periods. The abrasion resistant coating, breathable technology and seamless liner all combine to give the user enhanced comfort and protection.

306:

The 306 glove is revolutionary as it is constructed using a premium combination of full foam aerated latex supplemented with a latex coating on the palm. When wearing the 306, users can expect fantastic grip, dexterity and breathability in dry or wet environments.

Established since 1995, Globus has a strong heritage and unrivalled expertise having developed bespoke solutions for many well-known companies.
