New 244-XT hand saw from Bahco has high tech coated blade

Bahco have completed their renowned 244 hand saw range by adding the 244P-XT, a universal saw with a blue, 22” blade ideal for use on building sites or any other location.

With unique XT toothing and hardpoint teeth for long lasting sharpness, the ‘Blue 44’ will make short work of cutting any coarse or thick wood, wet or dry, faster and with less effort.

Its high tech blade, which remains super sharp despite repeated use, has a rust preventing, low friction coating to provide all weather protection.

The saw’s ‘power grip’ handle can be used for approximate 45 or 90 degree marking and delivers maximum energy in comfort and safety.

Bahco boss Mark Haywood, who heads the international brand’s UK team, says: “We have put our 127 years of experience in designing and manufacturing hand saws into ensuring the 244-XT meets the tough demands of discerning trade professionals.”

Bahco’s 244 range includes a precision saw for fine cutting, a compact 12” tenon with extra-fine toothing, ideal for precision or mitre work, a laminator saw for cutting wood, laminate flooring or PVC, two universal saws for fast cutting of rough or sawn timber and a high performance toolbox saw for all the quick cuts trade professionals need to do.
