Westfield Shopping Centre

Westfield Stratford City is a £1.45 billion development comprising 1.9 million sq ft of retail and leisure as well as 1.1 million sq ft of office space, three hotels and homes. Westfield Stratford City is located adjacent to the Olympic Park and will form the prestigious gateway to the Olympic Games in 2012.

Comprising of 300 shops and 50 bars and restaurants anchored by a John Lewis department store, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose and a 17-screen, all-digital, state-of-the-art Vue cinema, Westfield Stratford City will create a city within a city, and

70% of visitors to the Games will pass through WSC.

Working directly for Westfield, specialist refurbishment and renovation contractor Cemplas Waterproofing and Concrete Repairs Ltd were appointed as the Main Contractor to undertake the application of 3000m2 of Ronacrete Ltd Resin Bound Aggregate ‘carpet’ a key feature of the landscaping package that forms the main walkway through the entire shopping complex. The works undertaken by Cemplas including laying an asphalt base course, followed by specialist Ronacrete Resin Bound Aggregate system, including the fitting of aluminium angle trims.
