SURVEY REVEALS CONTRACTOR HEALTH AND SAFETY COMPLIANCE THE BIGGEST HEADACHE FOR SAFETY MANAGERS

In a recent survey conducted by PICS Ltd at the IOSH Conference and Exhibition, health and safety compliance was overwhelmingly voted the biggest issue facing managers. This was particularly true for multiple site organisations with a large contractor base. In fact, 65% named health and safety compliance as the most difficult contractor issues to manage.

CCL slabs promote sustainable construction

In line with Qatar’s construction development policy, the Qatar Petroleum District development has been designed to minimise its impact on the environment. From the conception of the project, the eco-friendly credentials of the development were paramount. ISO-Chemie first to seal environmental products’ award

ISO-Chemie has become the first foam sealing tape manufacturer in the world to gain the Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) standard in accordance with ISO 14025 and prEN 15804.

The move follows testing and evaluation of ISO Chemie’s polyurethane and polyethylene foam tapes at the Rosenheim test centre in Germany, which confirmed that the company’s products do not have any negative influences on the environment, particularly during use.
